Best home designer London Architecture firm
Best home designer London Architecture firm
I paid my way through 9 years of studying Architecture and Design, by working as a Health Care Assistant, this gave me an inside view and fundamental understanding of the importance of the built environment surrounding the ill and vulnerable.
My first ever project in project design was designing a kettle for patients suffering from Rheumatology Arthritis. This developed on a deeper level and became a passion which has followed and marked me through my professional career.
During my studies towards my Masters in Architecture and Design, which I undertook in London, I continued my special interest in psychology of space, and 12 years ago, after 11 years of working for an internally well-established London based company specializing in healthcare architecture, I decided to go solo.
in 2012, mother of 4 kids from 4 and down, I founded Coco - a private architectural practice with the emphasis on putting the end user in the forefront.
Today I have a very holistic approach to the built environment, and I proudly help parents to create homes suitable for their special children with physical or mental special needs and likewise I help (adult) children supporting their parents in enjoying their homes during later life. I further love working with those bracing 60-something who embraces the life ahead of them and wish to create a home suitable for later life living in maximized comfort and without worry of what if one day......
In parallel with my architectural career, I have completed a diploma in counselling, an extra skill which enables me to hear and understand my clients better and have given me the interpersonal skills which are needed in order to work with my clients to analyse their family dynamics and translate this into spatial needs. If you feel I can support you in your journey to create the best home for your family, please keep on reading and feel free to get in touch.

Therefore, it is important to consult, plan and carry out the process properly and with a long-term vision, in order to avoid mistakes, functional difficulties, waste of money, time and grief in the future...
Working with other professionals
When required we will work with occupational therapists and physiotherapist who will diagnose and assess the actual functionality and our role will be to translate this into design solutions, materials and accessible and user-friendly spaces. It is always important to us that these solutions for the accessible homes are carried out in a pleasant and aesthetic way, so our end-users don’t get the feel of an institutionalised solution in their home environment.
